about

Showtime is the first of two albums FMB will be releasing coinciding with their 30th Anniversary. It contains songs from the early and middle parts of FMB's career:- From the days rehearsing at the music co-op in Lancaster (where we wrote Julie's Gone Away in a few minutes) to playing at Air Lyndhurst studios, Reading festival and Channels 4's 'The Next Big Thing'.

Showtime is the album we never got to release in the early nineties that we wish we'd been able to play to people back then. Only thirty years in the making we hope you enjoy it as much as we did making it.

Showtime was mostly recorded over two days during a small break between COVID lockdowns in 2020, with some vocal overdubs by Roger in 2021. We managed to record 15 tracks and have a couple more in the can already - so we'll be releasing more next year...

People who purchase the album will also be able to download extra images and photos that will be appearing over the coming weeks.

Dedicated to the memory of original FMB drummer Tommy Greenard who passed away in 2020.
