about

Who Cares Anyway? Is about a relationship that is coming to an end and how we try to deal with it - it could be a with a lover, a family member, or perhaps a band member. This track was written at the time of (but not in response to) Jeff leaving the band and marks the halfway point between the lighter, poppier FMB of Showtime and the darker, more refelctive and rockier music of the second album. The theme of the song reflects some of the changes that were happening in the lives of the band, some of which was the consequence of some hard lessons learned in the music business and the toll it takes on relationships. The song was originally performed as a four piece with Rags playing all the guitar but this new recorded version has had entirely new lead and melodic guitar parts added by Jeffers.
